ABOUT GOOD DOG PRICING!
In 2024, Good Dog introduced a commission fee for breeders, which is why our pricing is lower on our website than on the Good Dog platform. In 2025, due to the high volume of transactions, Good Dog was also required by law to begin collecting sales tax based on the pickup location.
As a result, purchasing through Good Dog typically costs about 30% more than purchasing directly through us. That said, Good Dog is an excellent platform and those additional fees help provide buyers with protection against scams.
Because we are Alabama residents, we are only required to collect sales tax on direct sales within Alabama. We do not meet the sales threshold that would require us to collect sales tax in other states for direct purchases.
Please note that we are contractually bound by Good Dog’s terms and are not permitted to mention or offer off-platform purchases. If you have applied or contacted us through Good Dog at any point, we must continue the transaction on their platform, as moving off-site would jeopardize our ability to promote our program on Good Dog.
