Registered Red Merle Border Collie – Smooth Coat

Trip is our red merle, smooth-coated girl from Grit and Turbo. She has a confident, outgoing personality and is always ready for an adventure. Trip loves playing fetch, splashing in the water, digging in the mud and entertaining herself with balls, sticks and just about anything else she can turn into a toy. She also enjoys working stock and riding along in the truck or side-by-side.

Trip has never met a stranger and is always happy to receive attention from anyone willing to pet her. She is good with cats and gets along well with other dogs. Although she is not a pushover and will stand her ground when necessary, she is not a bully. Trip is a fun, social girl who enjoys being wherever the activity is, but she also has a good off switch and settles nicely when it is time to relax.

Trip is currently our only smooth-coated Border Collie and the only female in our breeding program who may produce smooth-coated puppies. Families specifically interested in a smooth-coated puppy are encouraged to watch for her future litter plans.

Trip is a TNS carrier but is not affected. All breeding pairs are carefully selected and DNA tested to ensure that no puppies produced by C Bar C Ranch will be affected by TNS or any other tested genetic condition.
