Just a bit about the ranch:
The ranch was started in 1998. It was named C-C standing for my brother and I (Chris and Carrilea). It has since grown, thru my marriage, into two locations. My husband, Stacy, and I both work a full-time jobs and work the Crow Holler Ranch. We both were raised on farms and grew up with all the normal farm animals, horses, cows, goats, chickens and farm dogs. We both enjoy the farm life and wouldn’t trade it for anything. Our hope is that one day the ranch will pay for itself but so far that hasn’t happened. Horses are my heart and soul but they are an expensive hobby! We graze cattle so that we don’t have to bush-hog and they bring in a small profit. We feed out a few calves every summer to put beef on our table. Our border collies serve two purposes. We will never be without a dog as a pet and companion but they are also very valuable to us as partners. They help us work the cattle for vaccinations and de-wormings. There is only so much you can do with a feed bucket and the dogs make the cattle so much easier to handle as they learn that the safest place to be is with people.
