We have always had a soft spot for red (chocolate) Border Collies, and red variations remain a familiar part of our program. Over the years, our puppies have included red and white, red merle, black and white, blue merle, lilac, lilac merle, slate and slate merle. Some may also have tri markings. The colors produced in any litter depend on the particular pairing, and availability will vary.
Color is only one part of choosing a Border Collie. Personality, activity level and fit with the family are always more important than color alone.
